General terms and conditions
- Staff at Bowlingcenter Marzili are authorised to require an identity document (ID, driving licence) as a deposit from guests and groups before issuing lanes, rental shoes and billiard balls, and to withhold it until the service has been paid for.
- Consumption of food and drinks brought from outside is prohibited within the bowling centre (the exception is our offer for previously booked children’s birthday parties).
- The approach area of the bowling lane may only be entered with bowling shoes. In case of orthopaedic problems, please contact the management or the member of staff in charge. Our approach area is wheelchair accessible and also allows wheelchair users to bowl.
- Entering the lanes is strictly prohibited. The lanes are machine-oiled from the ball delivery/foul line and there can be a considerable risk of slipping. The Bowling Company AG accepts no liability for any injuries or damage.
- The Bowling Company AG accepts no liability for damage to or loss of private items such as coats, bags, mobile phones, wallets, keys and the like, or private bowling balls, shoes and bags.
- Arriving bowling guests are asked to report to the counter 10 minutes before the reservation time.
- Reserved lanes will be released again 15 minutes after the reservation time if guests do not arrive, unless the delay is reported by telephone. In the event of late arrival there is no entitlement to free lanes or playing time.
- Lanes are assigned by bowling staff. Our staff will do their best to meet guests’ wishes. Changes and reallocations are reserved.
- All telephone reservations are binding and are accepted with name, email and telephone number. Staff are entitled to check that the details are correct. Reservations made with the online booking system are valid upon written confirmation.
- If the reservation is not cancelled by telephone or in writing 48 hours before the reservation time, 100% of the rate may be charged (guide price CHF 50.00 per lane and hour), provided the lanes cannot be reassigned. Any costs already incurred, e.g. for an aperitif, will be charged in full.
- In the event of lane faults, technical failures and/or force majeure (power cuts, time-consuming repairs, etc.) there is no entitlement to compensation or a replacement.
- The instructions of our staff must be followed. Violations may result in the lane being blocked and/or expulsion from Bowlingcenter Marzili.
- Licensed and club players must indicate this when making a reservation and present their licence to staff on arrival. The licensed/club player price can only be granted if the licence is shown. (On busy days and at times of seasonal demand, the normal prices according to the current tariff apply.)
- The special price “more Bowling for less money” does not apply on public holidays.
- Wilful damage to the facilities, theft, smearing and the like will be reported to the police without exception.
- All prices shown on the website are in Swiss francs (CHF).
- By making a reservation or using a service, our guests accept the General Terms and Conditions of The Bowling Company AG.
